Visiting time at the Linick home was a joyous time for me, and I was very fond of David, as were my late brothers, Izzy and Joey. They would be just as sad as I am.

When I was just a tot and he came home from the service we had a huge sign on my grandmother's old house (one his children would not remember) that said Welcome Home Dave. Boy was he proud.
