David Cresap of Cambridge and Truro Died on December 27th, 2001 after a long, brave struggle. Deeply loved husband of Sally Falk; adored father of Nicola of Rochester, NY and Penelope of Belmont, Ma; wonderful grand-father to Benjamin and Samuel of Belmont, Ma; dear brother of Albert Preston of New York, NY and John Clark of Cashiers, NC. Historian of 19th Century British politics, gardener, floutist, baker, philanthropist. Retired Professor of History, UCLA; Fellow, Royal Historical Society; Associate, Center for European Studies, Harvard University; Co-Master, Dunster House, Harvard University, 1984-89; Lieutenant J.G., U.S. Naval Reserves, active service 1943-46.
