I worked with David when he first came to the Whidden as an emergency room physician and also when he went in to private practice as a general surgeon. David loved and listened to the nursing staff, and spent a lot of time with his patients sitting by their side and listening to them, as well as explaining what the problem was, and what his plan was to solve the problem. David you are missed and I only wish in this day and age that they were more David´s around to care for their patients in the way that you did. God rest my friend.Kathy Maguire RN Love to your family

Joanie + Family,
It is with great sadness I hear the news of David passing. I had the pleasure of working with him in the ER at Whidden + as a Surgeon he was always a phone call away to assisting emergencies anytime day or night! He was a kind,caring,compassionate Doctor who listened to + spent time with his patients as well as the Nurses caring for his patients! He will be missed. Cherish the memories collected over the years + God Bless you all. Rest in Peace Dave

David and I were in a car pool together when we both were students at The New Preparatory School in Cambridge. I remember his brother and his parents. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy to be with . I spoke with him once after I left the service.

Dr Mullane was the best person, i have ever known, it was a great pleasure to learn from him, work for and with him and mostly just to know him Rest well you accomplished more than you ever realized love to Joanie
