David Rowlings Obituary

Of Chatham, age 56, at his home Tues., Dec. 7, 2004. Husband of Diane (Kendrick) Rowlings. Father of Stephanie Rae of Harwich. Brother of Beverly Smith of Hingham, Virginia Jackson of Melvin Village, NH. Grandfather of Joshua and Haley Rae of Harwich. Also survived by 4 nieces and 2 nephews and several grandnieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in The First United Methodist Church, Chatham on Sat., Dec. 11 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in The Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Rd., CHATHAM on Fri., Dec. 10 from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Association for the Preservation of Cape Cod, PO Box 398, Barnstable, MA 02630 or the Mugar Davenport Cancer Center, 4 Bayview St., Hyannis, MA 02601.

David was my cousin and my friend. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and and we will miss him. He bore his very unfair burdens with great grace and if heaven exists, I'm sure that's where he is.
