Debora was one of the most beautiful and caring people Ive ever known. Its so hard to fathom shes gone. She was a true friend to me. We went to the senior prom together, and she tried to make things happen between myself and my crush at the time.

It was clear that her empathy, optimism, openness and kindness carried on to impact others in her life.

Deb, thanks for being a true, thoughtful, kind, and exceptional all-round person. I think of you often and you will be missed. You left behind memories that were forged into my memory.

My deepest condolences to her family. You should be proud of raising such a wonderful person. With love to all.

It is with great sadness that I discovered this news this evening. I'm quite certain that it had been more than 35 years since last seeing Debbie, and yet discovering her passing has produced memories of my childhood as a neighbor in North Walpole back in the early 70's. I was in fact Cory's classmate, and perhaps had but a few opportunities to be a part of activities with Debbie, Jodie and Jeffrey, the younger siblings. I was likely just 9 or 10 the last time I saw Deborah, and yet I see the photo above and there is not a shred of hesitation in recognizing that smile and those eyes - I recall a voice that was distinct and strong, and a smile that was genuine and unprepared. I am left with a jolt and am quite saddened with discovering her passing nearly 2 years late. Please accept my sympathies. It is my hope that the family can forgive this late message. Thank you for allowing me to know Debbie. -Dave Sprague

My very deepest belated sympathies to the Mann Family. I was blessed many years ago as a new transfer student attending Walpole schools to have made a friend of Deb's brother Jeff Mann, and was an invited guest at the Mann home during that time. A wonderful family. Many happy memories shared with Deb, Joanna, and Jeff. Mr. and Mrs. Mann were very kind people. I lost touch with the family over the years. Debbie was a very sweet spirit. May God Bless you all during this time of grieving.

Dear Lois, Dick, Cory, Jeff, and Joanna,
When I think about Debbie I remember lots of blond curls, eyes full of mischief, and a beautiful smile. I don't know who had more fun when I came to babysit - the twins or me! May the light of Debbie's life forever be in your hearts.
Love,
Susan Sprague Walters

I grew up with Debbie from first grade through high school. She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold, helped me choreograph several dances for drama and performances and had a beautiful smile that would put people at ease. I am sure that those she touched with her work at Bay Cove and NAMI will truly miss her presence in their lives. Remembering the childhood friend that wasn't afraid to have fun square dancing in gym class. She will be missed by many.
