DENNIS RUSSELL DUNNIGAN

DUNNIGAN, Dennis Russell Age 85, of Andover, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Bear Mountain at Andover. He was the son of the late John and Harriet (Hardy) Dunnigan. Dennis worked for many years at the Boston Public Library. He was a volunteer at the bookstore for the Sisters of the Disciple in the pastoral center in Braintree and Promised Pauline Cooperator – Daughters of St. Paul. A Devout Catholic, he enjoyed watching Catholic Television, especially the daily Mass. Dennis is survived by his many caring Dunnigan and Zappala nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George J. "Tona" Dunnigan, Gloria (Dunnigan) Zappala, Lawrence Dunnigan and Gladys (Dunnigan) Archibald. Visiting Hours: A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Melrose, at 12p.m. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday at the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), LYNN, from 9 to 11a.m., prior to the Funeral Mass.
