Dominic A. "Sonny" Fulginiti

Of Somerville, MA, age 73, died August 19, 2005, at the home of his daughter in Stoneham, from complications of lung cancer. Retiree of Charles Stark Draper Laboratory of Cambridge where he worked as an electrical engineer for 40 years. During the 70's and 80's, he was a member of the "River Rats" running club in Cambridge. With the support of the club and his dedication to training, he completed six marathons, 3 of which were in Boston, and numerous road races. He was also an avid gardener. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Northampton for four years. Survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Geoff Wood of Wilmington and Doreen and Tom Galligani of Stoneham; his beloved grandchildren Alissa, Juliann and Michael Galligani and his sister Theresa Cloutier of Arlington. Brother of the late George Fulginiti. Funeral from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., STONEHAM, Tues. at 8 AM, followed by Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 9 AM. Visitation: Mon., 4-8 PM.
