Wee Forest Folk, Donna painted those miniature collectables for the company for several years. They´re so small. I was always amazed at her artistry especially doing such beautiful work on such tiny objects. She gifted me with two of them, a tiny Santa and a tiny wedding anniversary couple. Every time I see them I think of Donna. You are missed!

We remember Donna´s artistry, her sense of humor and her devotion to her grandson. We continue to miss her and all the visits, emails and text messages we exchanged over the years. We still display proudly a portrait she made of our dog. She & Jim were wonderful caregivers to Nana Casey for years at the end of her time on earth. We join Jim in sadness at this 7th anniversary time of her passing.

I discovered that Donna had passed and I am heartbroken. We met several years ago when she designed some lovely book covers for me, communicating only by email, but I soon grew to love her sense of humor, and the tales of her little Poms (Pixel?) and my rowdy Irish Setter. She was so witty, so delightful to work with. The last cover she designed was in 2012, and she went above and beyond, including original artwork to reflect the story. She told me that she couldn't wait to read it. I have yet to publish that book, but when I do, I will use her lovely book cover. I am so sorry for your loss, and even more sorry that I never met this incredible woman in person. She was unique...

I just learned of Donna's passing. We were friends as young children when we lived in their duplex on River Street. We reconnected through Facebook in recent years. My condolences to her family and friends. She was a remarkably creative and talented woman.

Donna, we will miss you here on earth dearly. Your whole life was artful. It's the way you took your photos, painted your mice family, created your books and painting. Such talent!!!!! Thank you for all your help when I would ask you an art or computer design question, you were always so generous with your knowledge.
I hope some one makes a book of all your beautiful bird photos, they are so lovely and make one feel at peace looking at them.
Love you and see you on the other side, Christine, Tom, Justin and Tyler Cormier
PS May your entire family find peace in their hearts but always remember when they see your art.

I was 12 when I met Donna. She was around 18. I wondered who this gorgeous young woman was that was dating my Uncle Jim. Together they looked to me like the coolest couple on earth! She, with her straight long hair and movie star looks and Uncle Jim with his Buddy Holly look!
The years went by and I got to know Donna as a friend more than an Aunt.
During the last decade, Donna, myself and my Aunt Angie had what I think of as a 3-way texting/email support group with a phone call or a visit thrown in here & there! Donna fought hard and was an inspiration to me during my battles. She will always be my Warrior Goddess. David joins me in saying how much we loved her and will miss her. All our Love to Jim, Judy, Jimmy & Jon.❤

Our hearts are so full it's hard to speak. We're still expecting the tone of a text or email from Donna and it's not coming. We honor her ever enduring love for our brother Jim. We honor her creativity, her humor, her welcoming spirit, and her loving devotion and care for her family. We especially honor Donna's courage and acceptance of what must be during these past few months. She's been a model of strength to us. We join Jim and the family in grief.

To My Son Jonathan,
Never, ever forget what "Nam" was to you. I am your mother, but she was your second mother, she loved you with all her heart. She went far and above the role of Grandmother and I thank God that she was there for us. I couldn't have raised such a wonderful son without her help. Her spirit shines on through you. Her inner strength, she passed on to you. It will be so hard for you to say goodbye, but always remember she loved you like you were her own child. Don't ever let her out of your heart or your mind.

I will miss you more than you can imagine. You were my rock for many years and I will never forget that. You are free of your pain and struggle now and for that, I thank God. You will always be in my heart, that beautiful smile will always be in my mind when I think of you. Rest in peace and know that you will always be loved and admired by myself and everyone that knew you. Gone too soon, our hearts are broken but we will go on to remember a courageous and beautiful woman who will never be forgotten. RIP Donna.
