PLUNKETT, Donna T. Of Duxbury, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2016. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on January 17, 1969 to Edward Tracey and Victoria Gottberg. Donna graduated in 1986 from Onteora High School in Boiceville, NY. Donna earned two bachelor's degrees: a BS in business economics in 1989 from SUNY Oneonta and a BS in Nursing in 1993 from Russell Sage College. After graduating from college, she held nursing positions at Albany Medical Center, Harvard Vanguard Medical Association, Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton Wellesley Hospital. Since 2010, she worked at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and volunteered at the Duxbury Lion's Share Food Pantry. Donna lived a life centered around raising her three beautiful children and her beloved husband Kevin. She had a great love for reading, design, music, cooking, theatre, skiing and walking on the beach with her dog, Nala. She looked to pass along her love of culture and nature to everyone she met. "Bella" as she was known to some of her closest friends had a true zest for life. She looked at the world from a unique, humorous perspective which her friends and family loved her for. Donna is survived by her husband Kevin, three children Kiley (12), Eoin (10) and Keegan (8) and her loving dog, Nala (6). She is also survived by her parents Victoria Gottberg of Round Top, NY and Edward Tracey of Olivebridge, NY and two sisters Georgene Brown and her husband John Brown of Jupiter, FL and Corinne Tracey and her significant other Eli Guillon of Olivebridge, NY and thirteen nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to the community of Duxbury for its overwhelming support. A wake will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Holy Family Parish, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury, Mass. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 10th, also at the Holy Family Parish. Only read of this sad news today in 2021 and of Donna’s passing away 5 years ago.
My sincere and belated condolences to her husband & entire family . She was a sweetheart & peach of a person .
Have been reading all to many obituaries of late, as I am approaching my own end of life in battling my own terminal cancer diagnosis. Life is precious.

Kevin/Family- Gone too soon...She was a loving, funny and caring person. So beautiful and spirited. The sudden loss must be unbearable now- know that God is ALWAYS with us, especially during the hardest of times. Ask Him to send you His Peace. It will come~ I have some great memories with Donna not just from "nursing" but just hanging out- and you will cherish all of yours all the more. You made a lovely couple and family. The Plunketts lived nextdoor to us in Needham for many years, and we had the pleasure of seeing them start their family and watch their beautiful children grow from infants to wonderful young people. They were the best neighbors ever. Donna was one of the the friendliest, warmest, easiest persons to talk to that we've ever known. We we were very sad to see them move. Our hearts go out to Kevin and the children for this unimaginable loss. They are in our prayers.

Donna was an amazing person. She showed up at my front door one day out of the blue to give me a stroller for my newborn twins. That stroller was a life saver. I thought of her kindness and generosity every time I used it. I can't believe Donna is gone. I miss her.
