DOROTHY OLIVERIO Obituary

OLIVERIO, Dorothy L. "Dottie MA" (Myhre) Long time resident of Walpole, Medfield and Westwood, passed away on October 4, 2018. The beloved wife of the late Frank Oliverio. Loving mother of Frank M. Oliverio and his wife Rosemary of Westwood, Terri A. McAuliffe and her husband Kenneth of Walpole and Sharon L. Ward of Medfield and Thomas Ward of Plymouth. Cherished Grandmother of Drew K. McAuliffe and his wife Brianna, Dana M. McAuliffe and his wife Kara all from Walpole, The Twins Brendan F. Ward and his wife Emily and Ryan T. Ward from NYC. Great-Grandmother of Casey and Olivia, Lillian and Jack. Sister and brother in law of the late Lars and Irene Nordholm of Minnesota. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was known to many as "Dottie MA" a name coined by her grandchildren but she became known to ALL by that name. Dorothy was born in Minnesota and was a "World War II" aviation plant worker who met her husband of many years in California while he was an enlisted US Marine. Dorothy moved to Boston and settled in Westwood, MA where she was a school food service coordinator for Westwood schools and a home maker. Dorothy was an avid candlepin bowler who once recorded the Triple strike "turkey" and enjoyed many days on the Golf course where YES she had a hole in one to her record. Interment will be private at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA where she will rest with her husband Frank. A celebration of her life will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA. Prayers and Donations may be made in her memory to The Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 024562.

Dotty Ma was a as beautiful Woman and loving Wife ,Mother ,Grand Mother ,and Mother in Law . Always there to help with Grandchildren especially Twins who enjoyed every weekend up to age 18 with the best breakfast pancakes anywhere. Even making the trips to Medfield on Snow storms !
Getting beat in Bowling every time was humbleing experience !
We all have so many special memories and a lot of fun times and laughs around the dinner table and the Cape .
