Dear Margaret, Brinna, Anne, Davis, Eli, Ethan, and all Doug's family,
Deep sympathy on your great loss.
Modest as he was in talking about it, Doug made a major and broad impact that will be a lasting legacy.
Through his vision, imagination, courage, and enterprise, Doug created institutions and practices that will continue to improve the lives of many in tangible and significant ways. He will be widely missed
Comfort and peace,

Margaret,
I am so sorry for your loss, Doug was one of the good guys.He worked to make this world a better place for children.
I will always remember the sailing stories, especially with the dog, and how he loved Maine. Being a widow is really hard and I hope the boys bring you some comfort.

Dear Margaret,
Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband. Many years ago, you worked with our daughter, Julie, and made such a positive difference in our lives. For your help, we will forever be grateful.
You shared stories of your sons and husband with us throughout the years.
Julie turned out just fine, thanks to your help. We wish you and your family peace.
