EDWARD KENNEY Obituary

KENNEY, Edward W. Of Wayland, passed away after a short illness, on the morning of October 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Claudia (Koren) Kenney of 44 years. Loving father of sons David Kenney of San Francisco, California, Steven Kenney of Portland, Maine and Christopher Kenney of Wayland, Massachusetts, and grandfather to Larson and Evelyn Kenney, and Finean Hunter-Kenney. Brother to Dianne G. Williams of North Carolina and the late Fr. Gerard J. Kenney, Bro. John G. Kenney, Robert J. Kenney, Elizabeth A. Conlon, and Michael F. Kenney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A lifelong mechanic, Ed possessed a wry wit and sense of humor, had a love of history, and was a voracious reader. He will be missed. There was a small graveside service with a memorial service being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the National Audubon Society or the charity of one's choice. John C Bryant Funeral Home of WAYLAND was helpful in handling arrangements. Dear Claudia, David, Steven and Christopher,
I have been meaning to send a message to you offering my sincerest condolences. In the words of the infamous John Lennon, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." Time gets away from you while you're going through your every-day routines. That doesn't mean that you all are ever far away from my thoughts and my heart. In my prayers always, Carol
