Lynda, Suzan, Scott and Family,

I had signed this book a few weeks back but it never showed up. I want you to know how very sorry I am for your loss, and how I wish that I could say something...anything....to ease your pain. Eddie was a special man, who meant a LOT to my family. He was a great friend to my parents. I will never forget what a great comfort he was to me as I went through a very difficult time in my life. I will NEVER be able to look at a can of Campbell's Soup without thinking of him calling every day during my 2 weeks of inductions asking, "Is it soup yet?". He was funny, and sometimes irreverent, but always a friend. Heaven gained a special person, and we gained a special guardian angel. He will be missed and remembered fondly, always!

Much love and prayers for you all,

Kathy (Buonopane) Carabine & Family

On behalf of my mother and sister, I want to thank everyone for their heartfelt comments. My father would be so proud to see how supportive everyone has been.

The following words may sound like something I read somewhere, but they are coming straight from my heart, and I have my father to thank for putting them there:

When you hear a joke, please think of my father and share it with others. Laughter leads to a longer, healthier life.

When you have a chance to choose between right and wrong, follow my father's lead and choose the path of integrity.

When you have an opportunity to help others, do it without letting them know you did it. The reward is priceless.

To get the greatest friends, you only have to do the one thing my father always did: be one first.

Take care of your family and you will achieve life's highest honor: to be loved and remembered long after you're gone. My father is proof positive.

May you always be as fortunate as we have been to have such a great presence in our lives.

With sincerest gratitude,

Scott

Dear Lynda, Scott and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Even though we did not know Eddie very well, we do know he was loved and certainly know why after spending only a short time with him in New York. We will always have fond memories and remember him from that wonderful July.

With deepest sympathy,

Eleanor Ross

Dear Suzan & Luke,

Your father (and grandfather) was a warm, loving and humorous man. He will be missed I am sure, but a part of him lives inside of you and the both of you will always feel him near. He is free from this life and therefore no longer in pain and for this, you must be grateful. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Much love,

Terri Beckham
