Edward Marnell Obituary

MARNELL, Edward J. Of Cape Coral Fl, formerly of Medford, Age 78. Husband of the late Dorothy (Cullinane). Devoted father of Edward J. Marnell, Jr. and his wife Linda of Peabody, and David Marnell and his wife Laurie of Fairfax, VT. Grandfather of Craig, Ashley, Morgan and Evan. Uncle and friend of James, Stephen, Warren, Mary-Lynne and Michael Marnell. He is also survived by many loving grandnephews, grandnieces and a great grandnephew. Son of the late Joseph Leo Marnell and Mary Elizabeth (Lyons). Ed was proud to be a Double Eagle having graduated from Boston College High School in 1950 and Boston College in 1954. He worked for many years in the hotel industry and retired as communications supervisor for the Boston Law firm of Parker, Coulter, Daly and White. Funeral from The Lane Funeral Home 760 Main St (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at The Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant St. Malden at 9 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday Nov. 5th from 3-7 P.M. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
