EDWARD MCINNIS Obituary
Age 66, of Acton, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died on July 5, 2013. Ed was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Graves) McInnis, devoted father of Tim McInnis & his wife Rosalie of Fitchburg, Keith McInnis & his fiance Liz Whitney of Littleton, Gregg McInnis & his wife Lauren of Billerica, Bruce McInnis & his wife Kristen of Windham, ME and the late Erik McInnis, loving "Grampy" of Ethan, Aubrey, Andrew and Owen, cherished son of the late John J. and Mary (LeMoure) McInnis, dear brother of Donnie Cooke, Betty Gangi, Jeannie Dell'Isola, Janice Babineau, Tommy McInnis and the late Jackie McInnis. Ed is also survived by many brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Wednesday, July 10th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours Tuesday, July 9th from 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations in Ed's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Ed was a U. S. Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War.

Dear Patty,
Our deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers from my family to yours. We are so sorry to hear about Eddie. We heard he showed a heroic and great fight to the end. As a newcomer to the family through Cheryl many years ago, I was always impressed by his kind and spirited nature. A true joy to be around and he always made myself and others feel welcome. May you and your family find strength during this time of sorrow. May he rest in peace.
