Alice, Pat and Steve, Aunt Eileen was a special lady, quick to laugh and to offer homemade baked goods. When I was a newlywed she gave me advice on painting and stenciling.I can still remember her saying, "You'll never go wrong with Benjamin Moore Navaho White." Forty years later, I still use it and think of her. Her home belonged in "House Beautiful". She was also a wonderful nurse. In the late 70's, when my dad was at the Faulkner for surgery, Rick and I arrived for a visit to find he was not in his room. He'd had a setback and had just been transferred to the I.C.U. I fell apart and your amazing mother appeared. She gave me a hug and told me to stop crying. She said I had to go in to my dad with a smile on my face and that the will to live comes from love of family. He survived and I will always remember that visit with my dad and your mother's kindness and strength. We have great memories of her and Uncle Steve, two very special people. We're sorry you have lost her.

Eileen was such a lovely lady, always welcoming to all and so 'hip' for her time. I will miss dearly and will always remember her each time I have a nice cup of tea and make her Irish Bread.
My sympathy to her wonderful family.
