Elaine BECKER Obituary

BECKER, Elaine M. Age 75, formerly of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, on August 28, 2025, at her cherished summer home in Bridgton, Maine. She was surrounded by loved ones after a brief period of hospice care.

Born in Boston and raised in Jamaica Plain, Elaine's early life was touched by loss, but also resilience. Following the death of both parents when Elaine was fourteen, she was lovingly welcomed into the Dedham home of her sister, Ethel and brother-in-law, Don Jacobs. Elaine graduated from Dedham High School, Class of 1968 and pursued a career in business, retiring as Vice President of Administration at Guideline, a marketing research company owned by lifelong friends.

In 1971, Elaine married the love of her life, Jack Becker of Dedham. Together, they shared 54 beautiful years of marriage rooted in devotion, laughter and kindness. Their home was a place of warmth, faith, and joy, where family and friends always felt welcomed and loved.

Elaine was a devoted mother to her three sons and their wives: Michael and Kimberly, Timothy and Sarah and Matthew and Danielle. She was playful and adoring "Nana" to six grandchildren: Ryan, Adam, Kylie, Lucas, Addison and Jackson, each of whom held a cherished place in her heart.

Faith and love were guiding lights in Elaine's life. She lived her beliefs and values every day through compassion, generosity, loyalty and a joyful spirit. She was an active member in the West Roxbury community, serving as Vice President of the St. Theresa's School PTA, Cub Scout Den Mother, Eucharistic Minister at St. Theresa's Church and frequent volunteer at Rosie's Place Homeless Shelter in Boston. She delighted in life's simple pleasures: laughing at stories around the campfire, cheering for her favorite football team, the New England Patriots and spending time with her family.

Those who knew Elaine will remember her gentle strength and radiant kindness. Elaine embodied love in every embrace, every conversation, and every word of encouragement. Her legacy is one of unwavering love, faith, and joy: a light that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Elaine is survived by her beloved husband, Jack; her children and their families and many cherished relatives and friends who will miss her dearly, but will carry her spirit forward.
