ELEANOR "GAY" HOLDERRIED

HOLDERRIED, Eleanor "Gay" (O'Neill) Of Medfield, passed away Friday afternoon, August 12, 2022, while in care at the Thomas Upham House of Medfield. She was 79 years old. Gay was born, December 8, 1942 to George and Dorothy (Barnard) O'Neill. She grew up in Roslindale and Norwood and has lived in Medfield with her loving husband, Leo Holderried for 57 years Gay is also survived by her three precious daughters, Susan Fraser and her husband, Bob, Kathy Denson and her husband, Jaime, and Donna O'Connell and her husband, Byron. She was proud to be a grandmother of seven: Steven, James, Amanda, Kelsie, Colleen, B.K., and Patrick; and great-grandmother of three: Camden, Caiden, and Rose; many nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend, Elaine Williams, who was like a sister. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and Nana. She was sadly predeceased by her brother, Jim O'Neill. There will be a Funeral Service for Gay on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, 12:00 PM, at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller St., MEDFIELD, MA 02052, followed by interment at Vine Lake Cemetery. Visiting hours will precede the service from 10:00 AM until Noon. Memorial donations in Gay's name, in lieu of condolence flowers, would be greatly appreciated at the National MS Society, by mailing to PO Box #91891, Washington, D.C. 20090 – 1891.
