We were all blessed to grow up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh among the clique of our parents friends and their children. To Sue and Mike and your families, my condolenses. Your mother was a beautiful, wonderful, and very much respected wife, mother(and I'm sure grandmother) and friend to all of us so fortunate to know her. The days spent at your house and the summer cookouts with all of us running around the yard and the 12th fairway while our parents got sociably sloshed sitting under the porch awning are fond memories that I owe to your Mother and Father as well as both of you. They are together now with all of their friends sitting under the awning on the porch, looking out across the tree shaded yard to the sunlight beyond. God bless all of them.

"Aunt Betty" was class personified! She was gorgeous inside and out.
Always impeccably dressed, the cutest of golf attire...even her "grubbies (with hat)" were cool.
She was THE consummate hostess as exemplified by one fateful Thanksgiving dinner at Laurel Lane. I had brought a date whose obnoxious behavior mortified me. He was such a loser. Yet Aunt Betty and Uncle Mike were beyond gracious to him and supportive of me.
That's class.
I loved her for her happy demeanor; her taste and style exemplified by their home et@; for her eagerness to listen and ask questions and for her intellect. I loved her for the friend she was to Mom and Dad (Gail & Sandy)...and most of all her devotion to Uncle Mike, Suz and Michael.
I truly hope to emulate her and gratefully consider her "Aunt" Betty.
