ELIZABETH CRUMMETT Obituary

CRUMMETT, Elizabeth "Betty" (Stewart) Of Natick, formerly of Weston, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024. She was born in Waltham, to the late Harry (Don) and Edith (Gianferanti) Stewart, Sr., on October 28, 1937. She grew up in Weston, where she served as the Class of '56 class secretary and loved organizing the many class reunions to catch up with "old friends" throughout the years. She had a passion for golf and was proud to be league champion for many years at Lost Brook, in Norwood. She loved wintering in Florida and having friends and family join her and Bob for sun, golf, and relaxing by the beach and pool. Betty loved her family dearly and cherished every moment they were together. Betty is survived by her longtime companion, Bob Donovan; devoted and loving mother of Linda Fulone and her husband Craig, of Millis, Ruane M. Crummett and his life-partner, Linda Follansbee, of Natick; Loving grandmother of Matthew Fulone and his wife Christina, and Nicholas Fulone; great-grandmother of Noah and Gavin Fulone. Preceded in death by great-grandson, Rowan; sister of Edith Kressy, and the late Harry (Don) Sewart, Jr; former wife of Ruane D. Crummett (Janice); and sister-in-law of Carleen Crummett. Betty is also survived by many beloved cousins, nephews, and nieces. Our world is a better place for having had this beautiful woman in it. We were all blessed beyond measure to call her mom, gramma, great-grandma, companion, and friend. Visiting Hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., NATICK COMMON, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm, followed by Burial at Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to the MSPCA Animal Care Center, 350 South Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
