ELIZABETH O'DEA Obituary

O'DEA, Elizabeth Anne (Sprague) Devoted wife, sister, mother and cherished Nanni, passed away on September 18, 2025, after a long illness. Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, she grew up beside her sister, Barbara and childhood sweetheart, Kevin O'Dea, whom she married. She and Kevin spent over 40 years in Scituate, before relocating to Hingham. Her faith in God remained her anchor through life's challenges. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Judge Kevin O'Dea; daughter, Courtney E. Plaisted and Laurence of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Andrew, Connor and Abbie Plaisted; sister, Barbara Sullivan; and many beloved relatives. She was predeceased by her parents, stepfather and stepbrothers. Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 4-7pm, at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, COHASSET, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10am, at St. Anthony of Padua, Cohasset, MA. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
