ELIZABETH MARIE "BETTY" WALSH

1953 - 2021

WALSH, Elizabeth Marie (Brown) "Betty" Age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in her Walpole, Massachusetts home. Born in Boston on April 24, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Doris M. (Burton) Brown. She was raised in West Roxbury and was a 1971 graduate from Cathedral High School. Betty began her career in telecommunications with the New England Telephone Company and later took a position with Sprint, working as a network & computer systems administer. Betty is survived by her loving sister Tricia Squillacioti and her husband Tony of Wells, Maine. Her sisters also include the late Jean Hurley, and the late Michele Brown. Betty was loved, and will be missed by all of her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Everyone loved Betty. She always went out of her way to do anything she could for her family and friends. She always had a story to tell and loved to share her passion for sewing, following the Red Sox, playing the slot machines and many other pastimes. She enjoyed spending time in her Mom's hometown at Moosehead Lake, Maine and at Castle Island in South Boston, with many fond memories of family excursions there. A private graveside service will be held for Betty's family at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when family and friends can gather without restrictions.
