Ellie and I were classmates (with Joe Drew and Marilyn Lance who have posted here) at GFHS. She was voted "most unpredictable " in our yearbook, which begins to capture her zest for fun and life. She was loyal through her life to friends and family, always with a laugh. My condolences to her family.

Gee. It seems like our Glens Falls High School Class of 1960 is being hit so hard these days. My condolences to the family. Ellen Winer was a very popular, very cheerful, very positive classmate. Oh, Lori and family: My mom, Audrey Adelman and my family and I will always treasure such great and wonderful memories of Ellen, Marv and you - our Florida vacation trips, and other fun gatherings. Lori and Family, I am so very sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. I worked with her at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for many years. We had a lot of fun times in those days. She was such a wonderful person. Sending my condolences.

What comes to mind whenever I think of Ellen is laughter. She always made me laugh. A good person taken in a sad way. Relief that her long struggle is over, struggle that was supported so faithfully and loyally by her family.
