Eric earned a BA from The George Washington University and a JD from Harvard Law School, before spending his career at Goodwin & Proctor and Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. Eric is survived by his three children and three grandchildren, with Terry Greenstein; daughter Jamie Geller Ayers (Dustin Ayers); and grandchildren, Sasha Ayers and Logan Ayers; with Cathy Thorn; daughter, Elizabeth Geller (Nathan Walsh); and grandson, Reid Walsh; and daughter, Julia Geller (Michael Gangemi). He is also survived by his brother, Douglas Geller (Sandi Geller); and niece and nephew, Jessalyn and Lucas Geller; and their children. Finally, Eric is survived by his mother, Edith Geller, who turned 101 on August 31. Given his lifelong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and culture, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The White House Correspondents' Association or Palm Beach Dramaworks. Above all, Eric was completely devoted to his family, who will be holding a Celebration of Eric's Life at a later date.

I met Eric on a trip to Egypt several years ago--we just hit it off from the time my wife and I met him and shared many meals with him just talking and living life. I have to say I had one of the best belly laughs of my life sitting next to Eric during a belly dancing show--we just played of of our one liners and it was a Sienfield show among friends. Great guy--will cherish knowing him

Eric was in the last office at General Cinema Corp before I took the turn into my cubicle. His legal secretary Leona Young sat in front of his office. We developed a friendship, Leona and I, talking over the cubicle wall. It was through Leona that I had the opportunity to interact with Eric.
He admired athletic prowess as demonstrated by my friend Carmen, he always had time for a hello or how was that audit trip or interrupting politely if I was at Leona´s desk too long. He was small in stature. Long in compassion, professionalism and a good guy. He will be missed. When you are a kid from the city who thought being hired as an employee of General Cinema was the most amazing gift, you walk in every day humble and grateful. I would never have expected this high powered attorney to even dane to speak to me and yet he did. And he was nice.

I am forever thankful for all the years I have known and loved Eric. He will forever be in my heart and sole. I am most thankful for the two beautiful daughters (Liz and Julia) that we shared. Eric was a wonderful man, husband, father and son who I will forever miss.

I am so saddened by the loss of an incredible individual. I was his assistant at General Cinema/Harcourt General and have known him since 1981. He was so kind, funny and intelligent. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
