I just found out today of Eric's passing through a mutual friend, and certainly with I had known much sooner about his loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Eric through the daily commute into and out of Boston for our respective jobs, as well as working out at the Y, and he was indeed the nicest guy. He took great pride in talking about his family, as well as other topics. My deepest condolences to his family.

Patty, Nina, Jeffrey and Joseph, I just recently learned of Eric's passing and I am devastated for you. I am keeping you in my prayers. Even though it's been a short time since your loss I hope you find comfort and peace in your heart as time goes on. My deepest condolences on the loss of such a good and proud family man. I worked with Eric for 8 years and will miss him dearly. He was a wonderful, kind gentle and generous man. He loved his family so much and was so very proud of his children. Rest in peace Eric.

My family and I were so saddened to hear about your loss. We knew Eric when he was a teenager, as he would visit our family in Stoughton when he would spend time with his cousin Steve. He was very special to all of us, loved to visit and chat with my dad...took me to my first dance...and even joined us for one Christmas morning. We have fond memories of a funny, gregarious guy. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, children, mother, sister, cousins and all of his family and friends. He was much too young. So sorry. Sincerely,

My condolences to all impacted by the loss of this man, whom I did not know, but saw almost daily on the commute from Swampscott to Boston. His yellow jacket and running shoes always caught my eye, and I enjoyed eavesdropping on his friendly conversations, where I observed his pride in his family, and genuine kindness.

Eric & I worked side-by-side for 15 years, and it was a lot of laughs: we both loved to tell stories. I will miss hearing him break into "Mona Lisa" at any given moment during the day, singing or whistling it.
He was a good man and friend, and I am glad to have known him.

He was the nicest man in the world with the best advice. He was the best conversationalist and always had the most interesting ideas and thoughts. He was the most generous, personable and caring man I have ever known. Eric Medoff was one of the people you never forget. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss, growing up with Eric and Jeff, such happy memories, even now I think of them both often, Bessie, Jess, I am so very sorry for your loss, even though I haven't seen Eric in years all I kept asking is why, we did this already. My heart breaks for both of you. His wife and children, I am so very sorry, I know the pain you feel, young children losing their Dads and a young woman losing her husband, my heart also breaks for all of you, I find it helps to try to remember the happy times and the love.

Our hearts go out to all of the Medoff family. A sudden and sad loss. Eric was such a warm, decent and wonderful person. His love of his family was always there on the surface - proud of his children especially. He will be remembered as a very special person. Too soon for goodbye.

I was shocked to hear about Eric. I remember all the times coming to Chelsea to stay with Bubby, we would always go to their house to visit. The last time I saw Eric was at my dads funeral a year ago. Even though we didn't keep in touch you were always in my heart & thoughts. RIP cuz!! Love you!!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Eric was such a wonderful person. Remembering New Year's Eve 2000 Eric insisted he leave the party in time for the ball dropping to be home with patty, who was -home with Joseph .
