When I moved to Sharon 20+ years ago, my late father, Phil Corrigan, spoke with great respect of his fellow advocate, Florence, from Sharon. Rest in peace.

Dear Marcia, Mr. and Mrs. Cohen, and Finkel/Blaustein families. I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out about Florence's death after receiving donations in her memory to COFAR. My apologies for not attending the services. Florence was a truly wonderful person. An advocate par excellence, a teacher to all of us, sharing her wisdom, her wit, and her ability to get along with everyone at the table. I will miss our long and amusing card rides together, as I know that your Mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother will be greatly missed by all of you. Florence was one of a kind and she truly helped so many families of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Thinking of all you - God bless.
