FRANCES SLOTNICK Obituary

SLOTNICK, Frances (Silverman) Of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Hull, MA, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 after 98 years of life. She was born in Lawrence, MA to Daniel and Sarah Silverman. Fran was the youngest of the four siblings who all predeceased her, Eddie (Bertha) Silverman, Carl Silverman, and Rose (Isaac) Chorofsky. Fran and her beloved late husband Sidney raised their son Daniel in Hull where they were active members of the community. Fran continued to love the smell of the salt air as she summered in Hull at her son and daughter-in-law's home. She was the loving and devoted mother of Daniel & Amy Slotnick and cherished and admired grandmother of Sarah and Matt Rubin. Dear sister-in-law of Selma Indeck & her late husband Malcom, and the late Esther & Harvey Baizen, and Herbie Slotnick. She was the adored aunt of Judy Novik (David), Pamela Indeck, Harvey Indeck, Diane Benedetti (Ralph) and the late Larry(Lois) Baizen and great aunt of many. She was predeceased by her dearest friend Norma Alibrandi with whom she spent many years of friendship. Graveside service at David Vicur Cholim Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury on Thursday, December 16 at 11:00am. Masks are requested for those in attendance. Shiva will be announced at the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Perkins Library, www.perkins.org or to a charity of your choice.
