Of Tewksbury formerly of Somerville April 28, 2005. Beloved husband of Geraldine A. (Walsh). Loving father of Thomas J. and his wife Kate of CT, Mark A. of Tewksbury and Ann C. Ryan and her husband Michael of Methuen. Brother of Thomas J. of CT, Anne and Kathleen Flanagan both of Somerville, Virginia Berkley of CA and the late Mary Meuse, Patricia Watson and Elizabeth English. Devoted grandfather of Molly, Fran, Tim, Conor, Patrick, Rebecca and Amanda. Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) SOMERVILLE, Tuesday morning at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Clement Church, Somerville at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours Monday 4-8pm. Interment Tewksbury Cemetery. Veteran US Marine Corp, Korean Conflict. Retired Tewksbury School Teacher.

Your life affected mine in such a positive way.You married a wonderful woman.Had three terrific children.You gave sage council to me and all who asked.You led by example with a positive and caring approach.Thank you Mr Flanagan for showing us how to live.
