Father Garrity was a wonderful person, priest, Saint Anselm graduate and Golden Anselmian. I feel blessed and honored to have known him and shared in some of the good work he did for his alma mater. He was a true man of faith and humility.
Rest in peace with God, and your loved ones and friends from the Class of 1951. I will miss you, Father.

I'm so sorry to read of Father Garrity's passing. I remember him vividly from St. Francis of Assisi in Medford. He said so many times in his homilies, "My dear friends, I love my priestly life so very much." A true one of a kind. He lived a good, rich, and long life. May he rest in peace.

Linda and I are sorry to hear of Fr. Frank's passing. He married us at the French church, Notre Dame de Pitie, in North Cambridge in 1978. We were a bit nervous and he put us totally at ease. Fr. Frank was always a constant holy and happy presence in our families' life.

We are saddened to hear of Fr. Frank's passing. He was, and still is, a special man. To observe him, you quickly see that he truly committed his life to god and loved his vocation. He served with a conviction and passion like no other.
My wife and I had the privilege of having Fr. Frank marry us 33 years ago, with the late Rev. Bernard R. Garrity serving as well.
He was an extraordinary man. So many in the community deeply mourn his passing as his was a life of service, love, compassion and excellence. He accomplished so much with spreading the Gospel. May he rest in peace.
With our deepest love, your cousin

Father Garrity was a wonderful priest when he was here at St. Raphaels. He was a very holy and warm person. We became such good friends when I was in the parish. He married my husband and I and also christened my youngest child. I know he is in heaven still doing God's work. I will miss him dearly.

A truly wonderful priest, beloved by his Needham parish. We were truly blessed to have him as our priest while our children were growing up.

The closest priest friend to our family is definitely Fr. Frank! A poignant moment in our lives was just after Fr. Frank administered the Last Rites to my mother. Fr. Frank came over to the family (my sisters & dad) and suggested that we say together the Memorare. He led us in this prayer to Mary. This was very meaningful to us because it honored Mary & was my mother's favorite prayer. The words of that prayer had a penetrative effect then and now. We will always be grateful for the charisma of Fr. Frank who brought us the peace of mind we needed that night. Requiescat in pace, Fr. Frank!
The Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother,to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful & sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear & answer me. Amen
