CURCIO, Frank Of Gloucester, formerly of Newton, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, age 74. Beloved husband of 51 years to Virginia (Higgins), devoted father to David Curcio (Michelle) of Watertown and Michael Curcio of Charlestown. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret of Lyndhurst, NJ. Frank earned his PhD in psychology from Clark University and was a tenured professor of psychology at Boston University from 1966-1986 before changing careers to open Stellina restaurant in Watertown, MA with his wife. An extraordinary chef, visual artist, and lifelong learner, he was adored by many close friends and acquaintances and a mentor to countless young chefs and anyone who shared his intellectual curiosity.
