I found this obituary quite by coincidence and was taken aback as I realized that this was the Frank Kale I dated briefly and casually while he was at USNA and I was a townie. I was never truly into dating middies but found Frank to be one of the funniest and most enjoyable people to be around you could ever want to know. In fact, although it has been more than 40 years, I remember him with affection. I am saddened to hear of his passing at such a young age. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. He was a good guy. RIP my friend.

To Pat and family......
I'm sorry to see the recent passing of
Frank.....my wife and I were out of town
from 5/10 until 5/21...therefore not
able to pay respects...and was unaware of
his death until the last few days..did
not know he has reached this critical
phase...last conversation was on 4/21
and he seemed upbeat....Frank and I found
each other many, many years ago starting
at Merrill Lynch & Co...and crossed
paths at a few other firms since then..always a good guy to have conversations with...in particular Navy
flight..and the Navy in general...
sorry for your loss....

To the Kale Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Frank at UBS and always enjoyed his company, sense of humor and quick wit. He was a true professional and a gentlemen and will be missed by all that knew him.
Sincerely,
Charlie Harvey

Pat and Nick,
We will miss Frank very much. I sat next to him here at UBS and at Smith Barney. Always loved seeing his happy face each morning, he had the best outlook in life and enjoyed every moment. May he rest in peace until we see him again.

Pat and Nick,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Frank for many years and was able to witness not only how good he was to his clients but how he was with his family. He was kind and considerate. I'm a better person just to have known him.
