Like many others, I knew Freddy and Ginny throughout our school years in Newton. Heartwarming to see all the people Freddy touched through these many years. Best to Ginny and all those kids and grandkids.

Another of the greats from a neighborhood so unique, so tight knit and so unheard of in todays world. Thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Delicandro's family and friends.

It's a sad day when the talk of the town, the walk of the walk, THE Man... Goes away. You Are Infectiously funny, and unselfish. You're True. So many people love you, and I do, too. Send me a winning scratch ticket from heaven, mush. Love you. Goodbye.

Aside from my parents, Fred instilled mental, and physical discipline at a young age! Preparing myself and my pop warner piers how to deal with life's challenges.
I have fond memories of playing football for Fred!

If I am half as loved as Freddy was by his family, friends and the community, I will be very lucky. Such a great father, role model and mentor.
