In Acton, formerly of Concord and Waltham, Sept. 20. Father of Frederick and Todd. Son of Antonia "Tootie" (Ammendolia) Lombardo of Boxborough and the late Angelo Lombardo. Brother of Marie Lombardo of Boxborough, Mark Lombardo and his wife Amy Lothrop of Acton, and Grace Richards and her fiance Vincent Stolo of Littleton. Also survived by 3 granddaughters, 3 nephews, a niece, 2 great nieces , a great nephew and many cousins. Nephew of Anna D'Italia of Maynard and Angela "Lucky" Blanchette of Concord. Services private. I am so sorry to hear about Fred's passing, I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Fred and I were schoolmates from middle school through high school. We played football, attended several shop courses together and had a good solid friendship. I have not seen Fred since we graduated from CCHS because I went off to school with an interim tour with the Marine Corp then moved to Florida and finally settled with my family in Texas. Though I left Concord, I have a lot of fond memories from the 60's and Fred always was one of the good friends I remembered.
He was a good friend and a good man, he will be missed.
