I only learned about Gabriel's passing away yesterday. Gabriel was on stage in Frankfurt at the English Theater in 2000, and I met him through friends and even had the wonderful chance to meet his family at Brooklyn Heights. Gabriel lived and breathed theater. Passionate and energetic as ge was, he loved communicating wirh everybody adding creative impulses and indulged in a sense of humour along the way. Although it is 20 years ago, I am sad to hear he left us.

Just found out about this. Spent many wonderful years with Gabe in London. From our time at LAMDA together, the tour of Holland, Belgium and Germany to the Edinburgh Festival and many hours at pubs and pool halls. He was a force. Hilarious, generous and with an energy that was uncontainable. We had a thing where we'd try to recreate the Aaron Neville falsetto together singing "Don't know much" . I still do it to this day. Always with a smile on my face as the memory of Gabe lives large. Love you buddy.

I've only just seen this and feel so sad. I went to LAMDA with Gabriel and we became good friends. Although we lost touch after that for a few years, he ended up moving into my flat in East London for a long summer some years later in 2002 and we had such a good time. After that we lost touch again (he was always a very mercurial, restless guy) but just eighteen months ago I had the opportunity to go to Boston and the two of us picked up just like we had seen each other the week before. He took me all over. To his favourite Chinese restaurant, to a pub where he liked to play pool, to the park. He even drove out to Waltham, where I was staying, to introduce his wife to me and my fiancee. He made me feel totally welcome. Always such a positive person, so energetic, so much fun. I will remember him with great fondness. The world is definitely a less interesting and fun place without Gabriel Kuttner. Goodbye dear friend.

I just heard about Gabe. It's heartbreaking. Many years ago we did Bug at Harbor Stage. He was so good in it, and he took me all over the Cape. Hung out in Boston a couple of times. My heart goes out to his family. He was quite simply a great guy. Kate Buddeke

I did not know him personally, but I saw him perform and was amazed by what an excellent actor he was. I was heartbroken to hear of his loss, both to his family and to the rest of the world. I'm so glad I got to see his work; my deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

To all Gabe's family and Friends,
Gabe's Runkle School Community in Brookline was a small community. We remember Gabe fondly as a member of that wonderful community and we were saddened to learn of his untimely death.
With love, Andy, Roger, and Alberta Lipson.

Gabe was smart, cool, with an Puck-like wit, master of deadpan comedy, compassionate, a wonderful friend and husband and father. This is a devastating loss. All our thoughts for his family.

I'm Bill Cody and I was a French teacher at the Runkle School in Brookline where Gabe was my student in the seventh and eighth grades. It is always surprising outliving a student. My condolences to his father Robert who was so kind to the teachers. Tank you for your time,
