Dear Pacione Family,
Although I did not know Gabe personally I have had the privilege of running with him at the state meets. I admired his talent and his sportsmanship he displayed at every meet we had together. I pray for you often and hope for your strength during your most difficult times.

Dear Pacione Family, Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you. My son, Michael introduced me to Gabe at the Salem News when Michael was named a Salem News All Star and Gabe was named Runner of the Year. After meeting and talking with him I thought to myself what a nice kid who has so much talent. Michael admired Gabe and spoke highly of him. Even though I don't know you personally, I think about you and your family often. Gabe is in our prayers. God Bless You.

My dear Jeff and family,

It has been many years since I last saw you...ran into your Mom today and heard about your deep loss. I thought about Primo..he was with my Dad at his end and attempted CPR to no avail. I hope you remember Mr. Roy and are comforted by all the loving arms that are embracing Gabe...good men..good caretakers!

The Pacione Family,
Even though we didn't know Gabe personally, as spectators we admired his talent during all-state meets when our son (now a college freshman) ran for Hingham. I think of you often and pray for your strength during your most difficult days. May God Bless You.

I am extremely sorry for you loss. I ran against Gabe throughout high school and he was an amazing runner along with an amazing person. My name is Wes Meserve and I attended Pentucket Reg. High School and ran against him a numerous amount of times. I now attend Umass Dartmouth where I continue my running career. If you ever need anything, I am here for you!!!

Dear Pacione family,
I ran against gabe a lot this year, he was such a great person. I think about him everyday and how he was so humble. He touched more lives in his 18 years than most people touch in a lifetime. I am dedicating my season to him this year, as are many runners I know. I will never forget him, ever. I am praying for you all.

Dear Pacione family,
My daughter met Gabe through the FROSH program last year and admired him tremendously. She is devastated, as is the rest of our family. I didn't need to know Gabe personally to understand how special he was....he was just that kind of person. You are in my thoughts and prayers each day. Wishing you much strength and hope as you go through this difficult time.

My son runs track for North Andover (no stranger to high school tragedy) and is a sophomore distance runner. We have seen Gabe run several meets and races and have admired his passion, drive and love of the sport. He was a joy to watch and he interacted with all of the athletes in a fun, and classy way. It is a tragedy that makes no sense and our words offer little comfort to the friends and family in the town of Hamilton-Wenham or the running community. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this most difficult time.

Dear Jeff, Sharon, Justin and Claire,

We were devasted to hear the news about Gabriel (from Anita). Our hearts go out to you all.

We mostly remember Gabriel in his early years as a baby, toddler and young boy - full of life and energy and promise.

We have no words of consolation, only that we mourn with you and long to comfort you.

We will be thinking of you especially tomorrow and will be asking our heavenly Father to uphold you.

Will write more later.

All our love

i had the pleasure of getting a chance to know Gabe at camp rotary. Him and his friends would always come to the program I taught and when they were there I could not keep a straight face. They were all so funny and such good kids. I looked forward to them coming to my program and hanging out. I was also able to get to know Claire when she was placed in my cabin for a week. Gabe was such an amazing person such a wonderful older brother and incredible role model for Claire. You couldnt ask for anything more in a person. I will miss his incredible smile that could light up any room. Gabe was truly an extraordinary and very special person. A true friend that will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest In Peace Gabe
