My thoughts and prayers are with the Angiulo family. Although I only met Jerry for a brief moment one time as a child in the North End of Boston when visiting my grandmother and aunt on Thatcher Street. My dad told me about growing up with Jerry as a child and playing together and just having fun as little boys do. Our family brought our father back from California in December of 2004 to be burried in the Orlandella plot next to your family plot. So may you both rest in peace side by side. May God bless the both of you in the new life ahead of you.

Life Is But A Stopping Place
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys.

Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Angiulo Family...

To the Anguilo Family:

A great man has passed from this world in the loss of your father, grandfather, brother or husband.

Take solace in the fact that, at one time, the entire Italian community benefitted from his life, his leadership and the principles he believed in. He was the last of a bygone era where men were men and lived by their principles no matter the personal cost.

To lead that community took extraordinary strength and intelligence and many generations of Italians were the beneficiary of men like this. I am proud to say that our families were friends then, and only in our dreams will our community ever be like that again.

If our generation lived by the convictions of their principles that Mr. Anguilo's generation lived by...if we had men who upheld our traditions and demanded that we practiced them...if we had men who were as devoted to their families as his generation was...this world, our world...would be a better place!

On behalf of the fathers and men of the Costa family...past and present...we offer our heartfelt condolences and appreciation for a life lived with purpose.

Those we love shine on ...
We look at the night sky in the quiet of darkness, and they are never far. Those we have loved and cherished, those who have changed our lives in some small or profound way are closer than we know, becuase it is their light that shines on our world. It is the brilliance of their souls that makes our night sky glow. May peace shine down upon the Anguilo family and bring you comfort.

To the Angiulo Family,

With deep sympathy to all the Angiulo Family. My parents (Jimmy and Connie) owned Ischia Grocery on Prince Street. Jerry and all his family were very good to my parents and family. My mother passed away last year and it saddens me to hear of all the people that I grew up respecting in the North End passing away.

With sympathy,
