Dear family of Mr. Doucet,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of dear Mr. Doucet. I have thought of him countless times over the many years since I graduated Revere High, Class of 1973.
Mr. Doucet was my English teacher for one year and I also had him for Theater Arts. I give him all the credit for instilling in me a deep love of literature and appreciation for the theater. I am moved to tears when I think about the impact he made on my life, as a passionate committed teacher and student of humanity. I am so grateful for the gifts and insights he has given me, as a seeker and observer, and think of him always when I experience literature and plays or speak about it with my two grown children. I still have some of the 500 word compositions I procrastinated about every Sunday night...
May he rest in peace and continue to guide and inspire us here on Earth. May you all be comforted by loving joyful memories.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Crivello Kobus
