It's been a long time since 5th grade, but I will always think of Mr. Ford as a caring, great teacher. He did not try to be cool or funny, he just was, in his own way. Everyone loved him, even way back in 1974!! Rest in peace Mr. Ford, Millis will not be the same without you. My condolences to your family and friends.

One day I walked into Mr. Ford's classroom and he said, "It's a beautiful day out today, isn't it Amelia?" I answered, "Yes it is! The sun is out, the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming." From that day on, we always talked about the weather during homeroom. I will never forget Mr. Ford. He was the best teacher ever.

I will miss Mr. Ford and everything he taught us about social studies. He loved social studies and history and made us all love it, too. Now he will always be a part of Millis History as the best teacher. Thank you, Mr. Ford. You will be remembered by all your students.

Mr. Ford i will miss you so much. You were my favorite teacher in the 5th grade. I remember when we all went over for orientation and you made me feel so welcome. I also remember all the games we would play to help us remember important facts. You gave me some great studying skills. Thanks for always being there. once again i will always remember you and i will miss you so much.

I didn't know Mr. Ford well, but i still knew him. He was all of my friends favorite teacher. I was in the classroom when he had to be taken into the hospital. Now when i am in that classroom, i feel like something is missing.

Definetly the best teacher ever had in fourth grade and fifth grade. Taught for just under 100 years I believe and always did it with a smile on his face. Brought a lot of inspiration and knowledge to young minds.

My oldest son is a student of Mr. Ford's and we are so sad to hear of his passing. Mr. Ford will be remembered as the kindest, gentlest, caring teacher that Max has had. Mr. Ford was the first teacher I met at the Middle School when we came up to visit before Max's first day and he was kind enough to show us around and answer our questions. I'm so sad that my younger two will not get to experience him as a teacher.
Much sympathy and prayers for his family and for the community of Millis.

The world has lost a kind and gentle man, and I have lost a friend. "Education is not something that ends on your last day of school. It is a gift for your mind, body, and spirit- and it lasts a lifetime." Thanks for the gift, George, we will miss you.
