O'BRIEN, George W. Age 82, died peacefully Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the home of his daughter, Chris. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Amaral) O'Brien, and the son of the late James and Catherine (Haley) O'Brien. Born on May 12. 1938 in Cambridge, George was educated in Cambridge Schools. He was the owner and founder of Steve's Air Express and Freight Company in Boston. He also worked in the freight department for American Airlines. George was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. George is survived by his children, Noreen Bellio and her husband Chris, Stephen O'Brien and his wife Lisa, Jeffrey O'Brien, Catherine Prutsalis and her fiancé Donald Hersey, and Christine Kearney and her husband James, his sister Marie Sullivan, eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Catherine Baumgardner, Anna Joselyn, Donald, Frank, James, Thomas, and Richard O'Brien. His funeral will be held from the Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 619 State Road (Manomet), PLYMOUTH at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure's Church, 803 State Rd., Plymouth at 10:00AM. Visitation with George's family will be on Wednesday from 4:00PM-6:00PM. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Guestbook at www.cartmelldavis.com
