George I think of you often. You really are a caring person. There are so few left, George. How uncanny it was that I knew you for a year, only to have you deal with my friend when she passed. Her parents called you (seemingly) randomly. You knew before I did. I am eternally grateful it was you. I believe that was providence.
I remember the funeral you gave her, and you were so efficient at directing everything, you shielded everyone from all but the grief already at hand. You never knew this, but the carload of us were impressed you were such a sincere and natural director. We watched you, we discussed it, but truly none of us had personally known a "true" director prior. At least not "live".
We knew you were a serious businessman, but your relaxed and ever pleasant demeanour outside of work was in such stark contrast. Good for you -having figured that out. I haven't, and few have.
I think were all simply bewildered with someone with such talents having such a good soul. You were someone to look up to. You were always young looking and active, but I knew you were older, which is why I asked you for advice -initially. Actually, I would have asked your advice no matter your age. You just seemed to know.
I am happy there is a way to talk to you. Sorry I wasn't there at the end. I hope you don't hold it against me. I will stay in touch.
We will never forget you

I was shocked to hear of George's passing as well. We met through a mutual friend almost 20 years ago. We did long bike rides, had many dinners, and even went to see Madonna in Boston! I am sorry I was not there at the end and that we lost touch. I last saw George at LifeTime Fitness about 3 years ago. We never did connect. Hopefully, some day we will! Lost of love to your family, Suzanne Young

I am sorry, George. I am sorry I wasn't there for you because of my own shortcomings. I took a government job in Nevada and basically tried to forget about Boston: you remember those people we both needed to get away from. When I eventually reached out - it was too late. Emptiness. They don't make people like you anymore. I will always remember you. My sincerest condolences to your wife, family and friends.
Thank you, George.
Sincerely,

We were so sad to learn of George's passing. He was so helpful when my parents passed away. I'll never forget his kindness. As we had mutual friends, we'd see him periodically. He was just the nicest person. Without doubt he will be missed! Our hearts goes out to Beth and family.

To the Rodman Family, may you
Find some comfort in knowing that George is at peace, with no
Pain. He has had a long and tough fight. He was a good person
And he and David gave the Jewish community a family owned funneral home and they gave friendship and love when most
Needed. He was an expectional

I am very saddened to learn of George's passing. We were friends during our teen years as members of the Newton DeMoulay. Over the years, he was very helpful in parents' and my aunt's funeral arrangements. I always enjoyed chatting him over the years. He was a real mensch. Rest in peace, old dear friend.

We never had a brother, but we were very
lucky to have had George as a part of our
family. As for the many relatives and friends that parted from this world, the one
constant support we had, was our wonderful
George. A true Mensch and a "Gentlemen's
Gentlemen", he exemplified class and was a true professional. Now, we pray for his family to have peace in their hearts and to remember what a great man he was to all of us. We will never forget his smile an warmth. With Our Heartfelt Sympathy

I had to read this several times before I could process it. George was one of the kindest, most compassionate people I had the honor of knowing.
I cycled the Pan Mass. Challenge with George several times. When my dad passed a couple of years ago ,George , along with Dave knew my dad and were extremely helpful, kind & compassionate regarding my feelings at that time. When I hear the word mensch I think of George. George, you fought the good fight for several years, you left us too young, now it's your turn to rest my friend. Godspeed George, you will be missed.
