God Bless you, Skip. From the first time we met at Hanscom in 1983 we became friends and brother mathematicians. Skip had a wonderful soul, puckish sense of humor, and a most decent human being. He was a friend along with his wonderful mother would pray for a friend's recovery from sickness. I would joke with him that Alan Arkin would play him in the movie tribute.
His nickname 'skip' came from his father because as a child Skip would 'boss people' around. I and my family were honored to know him as a colleague and a dear friend. May God give him the best pool table in Heaven. Peace, my brother.

Skip and I were always together during our years at Purdue and it saddens me greatly to know he has gone to play on that big billiard table in the sky. There will never be another like "Skip".
