Dr. Jako was the finest and most productive physician I have had the pleasure of knowing. We worked together on a number of minimally invasive surgical products and traveled together many times. I always thought of him as a big brother who taught me just about everything I know about medicine and surgery. He had the respect that was world wide and worked with many surgeons to spread the word about the use of the operating microscope and designed and produced the Jako brand of microlaryngeal instrumentation. He was also an expert in the use of lasers for surgery. He always told me using the laser was like milling a piece of metal, except it was flesh. His philosophy was never take more tissue than you have to, and the laser made it possible. He roamed the world and was kind enough to take me with him many times, including this 1980 trip to mainland China. He was one of the kindest individuals I have every known.; I will miss him always because I felt we were family. He was also a great Father who saw that his children had every advantage. My love and condolences to Chris, Cindy, Ronald and Maria.

szinte részvétem a gyászoló családnak .
