GREG CASEY Obituary

CASEY, Greg Age 77, of Candia, NH and formerly of Long Island, NY unexpectedly passed away, on February 12, 2025. He was a beloved husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and American Patriot. Greg was born on March 9, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up on Long Island, NY where he attended A.G. Berner High School, a graduate of the class of 1965. He joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and served valiantly in Vietnam with the 1st Armored Cavalry in 1967-1968. Upon his return to civilian life, he worked as a master telecommunications technician for NY Telephone, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Comcast spanning more than 50 years. In 2004, he moved to New Hampshire, where he met and married the love of his life, Linda Casey and enjoyed their life together for the last 20 years. In addition to Linda, Greg is survived by his grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew and Brooke and their mother, Meredith Beauchesne; and a great-grandaughter, Julia Beauschene; brothers, William Casey and his wife, Lynne (Bayport, NY), Kevin Casey and his wife, Michele (Bedford, NH); and sister, Carolyn Cioffi (Holbrook, NY). He is also remembered fondly by 18 nieces and nephews and many friends who all loved "UG". Greg will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his love for family and his dedication to his country. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Visiting Hours: Friends and family are invited to Calling Hours on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10 AM - 12 Noon, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, WINDHAM, NH 03087. A Prayer Service will follow at Carrier Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place at a later date.
