It´s hard to believe that now both Harriet and my wife are gone, both victims of cancer. Harriet was my son´s godmother and always great fun to be around. She was our stockbroker for most of her life as well. You could always count on Harriet being there and sharing good times and bad. It gives me great comfort that she and Joan are in Heaven together, enjoying an eternal lunch and the nicest restaurant up there. RIP dear friend.

Harriet, and her mother Marjorie, showed great compassion and hospitality to my family at a time of need. I will be forever grateful to them both, as living examples of how to be followers of Jesus.

Harriet was a dear friend, not to mention a true professional. We shall treasure the 50 years of friendship we enjoyed --all the dinners, lunches and processing. Dogs, cats, travel, family, the Titanic, politics, etc, etc...We will be traveling during her funeral, but she will be in our thoughts.

Although I had been forewarned, I was greatly saddened by Harriet's passing. I greatly valued her generous spirit, her wise counsel, our common love of Great Britain, and the ongoing connection she provided with life on the North Shore. Ave atque vale, good friend.
