Aunt Hazel was my Dad's kid sister and she had the best stories of growing up in Chelsea. She told how he brought her along on camping trips so she could cook - "Fooled him ...", she said - "all I could cook was fudge. So all they got was fudge!" Her zest for life and her limitless love for us all was always a bright light of inspiration.

Very fond memories of Aunt Hazel. I loved her independent mind and spirit. She’s a role model for aging gracefully. Always grateful for her help in my political campaigns. May she rest in peace.

Hazel is my great-nana, when i got the phonecall that she passed, i had no words to say but "why". I recently lost another grandmother in 2016. Its too soon to lose my nana too. I havent seen her in quite some years and i regret every day of not calling her more often, or visiting her. But i know she knew i love her very much. I know shes proud of how far ive come in life with 4 beautiful children and pursuing my life long career dream of the Rodeo circut, professional barrel racing. She loved that ive always had the "horse thing" haha. She can now watch us accomplish what we want in life from above. I miss you nana so very much i love you to the moon and beyond! We will see you again.

we enjoyed our many trips to Arizona...seeing all the wonderful sights along the way...it was fun to design the many costumes that Hazel sewed for a dancing studio...also, we spent many days at the first casino to open in our neck of the woods...see you in the casino up in the heavens...!!
