Of Waltham & Sagamore Beach, July 25. Beloved wife of David B. Foynes. Loving daughter of Robert H. & Helen M. (Oakes) Hughes of Waltham. Sister of Robert W. Hughes, William P. Hughes & John R. Hughes all of Waltham & Brian J. Hughes of Lexington. Daughter-in-law of Frances Foynes of Jamaica Plain & the late John T. Foynes. Sister-in-law of Susan J. Foynes of Jamaica Plain. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood Ave., Jamaica Plain (off Pond St.) on Tuesday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours in the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St., (Rt 16) WATERTOWN, on Monday 4-8 PM. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. September 27, 2024 Hello David, I hope you are well. YOur wife used to be my teacher in "Watertown High School" I found out about her passing about a year ago. I wish I could see her one more time, but this is life sometimes the person you have not seen in years is no longer with us, how are you and your family doing. Armine Grigorian

Dear David,

I was so sorry when Mom told me about Helen. I knew she wasn't well but this was such a shock. All I can think of is Thank God Your Dad and my Dad were there to greet her.If there is anything we can do please let us know. Our thoughts,prayers and love are with you.
