ASWAD, Herbert L. Of Newton, February 13, 2024, at the age of 95. Dear and devoted husband of the late Lorraine (Sabbag) Aswad. Loving father of Richard Aswad and his wife, Patricia of Nahant, Dr. Paul Aswad and his wife, Cynthia of Needham and the late Louis Aswad. Dear "Jido" of nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Brother of Mitchell, George and Gloria Aswad. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Herbert was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and a longtime member of the Bethesda Masonic Lodge. Funeral Service on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of St. John of Damascus, 300 West St., Dedham. Visiting Hour in the Church, Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Herbert's memory to the Church.
