Dear Goldberg family:
Unfortunately I just heard the news today 09/24/07. I am so sorry for your loss. Herb was a constant in my life for over 10 years.
He helped me with anxiety, OCD, coming out, and everything in between. He also helped my parents understand all of it.
There will never be another man like him.
In my heart and in my head, I will always follow what I like to call"The Words of Herb."
Peace

Dear Goldberg family,
Herb was instrumental in helping my son and our family deal with Tourette Syndrome. He has been our support since Ed was ten. We will miss him and be forever thankful that Herb touched our lives.
Ed will graduate college this year, and I know that Herb's friendship and guidance contributed to my sons achievement. I pray God will comfort you in this time of loss.

It is hard to express feelings during this difficult time. All I can say is that I feel blessed to have known such a wonderful human being. He was such a gifted counselor and got me through some difficult loses in my life. May his memory live through those he has touched of who there are many.

Leslie and family,

I was sorry to hear about Herb's passing. Herb was a TEP fraternity brother of mine at Bradley University, and although I had not talked to him since graduation, I have very fond (and funny) memories of him and his kindness to me during my years at Bradley.

Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family.

Best regards,

Drs. Jeff and Tyler Neitlich

Dr. Goldberg was not just a Dr. , he was part of our family. I was in the hospital with a brain tumor and needed him badly, he was there before I could say boo! What an angel!! He helped me through so many horrible times and i just loved and still love him! When I moved to Florida I missed him so much just like one of the family!People say "Everyone's replacable". He is one that goes against that rule! I will truly miss him!
