Our deepest sympathy to the entire O'Rourke family on the loss of our dear friend & former neighbor. Irene will always be remembered by us as a dear friend who welcomed us to Freeland
St. in 1976. May all of you be consoled knowing that she is now at peace with the Lord and the family
members who have gone before her.

To all the O'Rourke family,
Please accept my condolences on the death of your mother. I would talk to her many times when she came into the Carney Hospital for her doctor appointments. It was always a joy to talk to her, bringing up many memories of my growing up in Dorchester with her children. She was very proud of all of you. May she be a guiding light for all of you in your future lives.

Mrs. O'Rourke was my favorite fellow CM football fan growing up. She used to pick us up at Walsh Park and drive us to the CM football games on Saturday's to watch Butchie play. We used to listen to the Irish Hour and laugh and laugh. Mrs. O'Rourke always had a kind word and a wonderful smile. I'm glad I knew her. - Mary O'Neill Fowkes
