I am so sorry to hear about this. My wife and I were were Jake's neighbors for the past few years. We didnt talk very much, but from the few times we did talk, I could tell he was genuine and a really nice guy. So sad to hear about this. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I met Jake during his first years at the castle. I remember him as a kind and curious kid. I'm not surprised to read the kind of man he became in this touching remembrance. Big love to Jenn, and Jakes family and friends during your time of grief.

I taught Jake at Clearway School and we kept in touch in the years since. I was so proud of the intelligent, thoughtful, and good man he had become. My condolences to all of Jake's family and friends who are going to miss him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Jake, however I too lost my son to a single car accident on NH roadways. My deepest sympathies go out to all his family and friends. May this candle shine bright in his memory and may the Lord comfort and bless you all.

My condolences to the family and close friends of Jake. I have had the pleasure of working with Jake for almost three years and am grateful I had. My fondest memory is when he and I talked about his cat and training the cat on the toilet. He was always willing to listen when I had stories about my dog too! Recently, when he came over to my desk to help me with my computer, he saw a magnet of a Labrador Retriever with a few tennis balls and the magnet said "Retriever's Conundrum" and he taught me what the word meant. Jake was always so helpful and always made me laugh <3

Jake was an incredible person to work with. He always knew to listen and actually cared when I had to share stories with him about my dog. One of my favorite memories of Jake is when he told me he taught his cat to potty on a toilet. I kept that conversation going for a long time when I first met him at work almost three years ago. He also recently taught me the word "conundrum" when he came to my desk and I had a magnet of a "Labrador Retriever's Conundrum". Over this past weekend, that word ironically kept popping up. I'll remember you always, "Jake from State Farm".

Jake was an incredible force that any IT department or friend would be lucky to have.
He was a fantastic coworker. He would consistently go out of his way to make sure people felt happy, comfortable, and supported. He was always offering advice (sometimes not even asked for, but he always had an idea!), often teaching me new skills while juggling his own workload, and even on his days off he was available when I needed him. Not only was he a hard worker but an innovator who never stopped looking for a new ideas and solutions with the latest tech. I can't imagine asking any more from a colleague and we will certainly never be able to replace him.
While I mainly knew him professionally, that didn't stop him from making an impact on my personal life. He was always giving to others and it was impossible to not admire his ability to make new friends and elevate them to a higher level, despite the cost to himself. He shared anything if asked, always willing to take a movie request or to lend his tools to someone for some random task. It seemed like every weekend he had plans to help a friend move or to set something up for someone he loved. He was the type that would do more for a stranger than many others would do for their friends. Jake was bold and never hesitated to share his opinion, for better or for worse. And while it seemed like he always had some issue with his apartment or his car, he never let it impact his attitude and it seemed the only things he didn't share with others were his burdens.
Jake was an excellent dude, through and through, and will be missed sorely. My deepest condolences to his family and anyone who was lucky enough to know him.
